A few months back we did a review of Jaybird’s JB200 stereo Bluetooth headset. While we found the device to be good for its intended purpose, sound quality of them was another story. Jaybird seems to target most of their products with sports oriented active users in mind as all their products come with a lifetime guarantee against sweat.

Today we’ll be looking at two of their newly introduced products, the Endorphin Rush- Athletic earphones and Tiger Eyes – Ear buds. The main differentiator between the two products is that the Endorphin Rush comes with a 10mm high performance neodymium driver while the Tiger Eyes comes with an 8mm high performance neodymium driver

The Packaging

Both the Endorphin Rush and Tiger Eyes come in the same type of packaging with a few optional extras. Here’s a side by side comparison of both products:

The packaging is very professionally done and Jaybird has maintained their professional touch even from the outer packaging. Users will be delighted that Jaybird included a hard carry case and cable managers for both products ensuring adequate safety to the earphones during transportation.

The Endorphin Rush also includes optional earhooks for an extra secure fit as seen in the image above. Other than the driver size, the other difference in between the two products is that the Tiger Eyes includes a mic. If your phone has a 3.5mm jack, you can use these ear phones with your phone which also has built in volume and answer control. Music automatically fades out during a call and fades back in once the call ends.
