Introduction

Just a couple of day's back, we reviewed the Hercules 3D Prophet II GeForce2 MX which is based on Nvidia's low-cost GF2 MX chip. Though having performance levels of last generations GF2 DDR/SDR graphics cards we were very impressed with the cost/performance ratio of the card. As more and more GF2 MX boards appear on the market we can expect the prices to slide down even more.

One thing lacking in the Prophet was that it didn't have TwinView, probably the most exciting feature of the MX chip. TwinView is the rival to Matrox's DualHead feature which let's you have two independent displays from one single video card. So what we have today is, our first review on a video card which sports Nvidia's latest TwinView feature; the Asus V7100/2V1D GeForce2 MX TwinView

The basic format of the card is no different to any Asus V7100 or V7100/T card. And since most of you have probably read enough on them already, I won't delve too much into the basics of the card.
