KeyGhost USB/HUB Keylogger in Detail There are a few improvements and new developments gone into the new TimeDate KeyGhost USB/HUB Keylogger in comparison to the older models. One of the main changes on this model is that plugging it into a PC is pretty much the same as plugging in a USB HUB. It uses the generic USB HUB drivers that are built into the OS so installation doesn’t require separate drivers. Since this keylogger has a built in USB HUB it allows for the device to be installed both upstream and downstream from internal and external USB HUBS. This allows it to record keystrokes on any number of keyboards connected to a USB HUB which is then connected through the Keylogger to the PC.
The KeyGhost USB/HUB Keylogger allows all data traffic from other USB devices to pass through the keylogger with no issue at all. So for example if a keyboard has a built in hub on which say you would connect a thumb drive, digital camera or printer, the data will still pass through without a problem. This is beneficial in avoiding the Keylogger being detected or arousing any suspicion. Another improvement made is the USB/HUB Keylogger features a patent pending dual-mode time and date stamping on all keystrokes which can tell you when exactly something was accessed or typed. Even if wireless keyboards are used this is not a problem for the USB/HUB Keylogger provided the receiver is plugged to the Keylogger. Installation The package comes with a very detailed manual that goes through everything from installation to features of the KeyLogger. I'm not sure what if the retail package comes in the same manner as we did, nevertheless our package was received as per the picture below in a sealable bag.
