Introduction 

As PC and Laptop manufactures expand their range of products offered so does the market competition resulting in lower prices to the consumer. One has to admit laptops have significantly come down in price over the last 2 years than ever before and appropriately the demand for them keeps growing.

With growing popularity for these items the demand also grows for accessories which compliment their use as well, such as notebook bags, mice, USB drives etc. Today we’re bringing to you another innovative product offered by Apiotek called the “Inner one Shock Proof Notebook Bag.

Essentially what the inner bag does is it provides additional protection to your laptop while inside your conventional laptop bag. If you’re a frequent traveler you want to give your laptop the best possible protection while on the road and the Inner one Shock proof bag claims to offer that. So let’s see what’s on offer.

The inner bag we received was a 15 inch case so that it can be used on 15inch wide screen notebooks. However they have sizes ranging from 12.1inch to 17inch laptops so you’re pretty much covered for any type of laptop.
The Inner bag is shipped in decent packaging and there were no damages to it during shipping.

The measurements of the bag were spot on as it fit perfectly inside our laptop bag for one of our HP laptops so I’m pretty sure no one would have any problems in that area.
When we were first asked by Apiotek to look at this product we weren’t really sure how this inner bag would benefit in addition to having a conventional laptop bag. However looking at the features and design of it one would realize it's benefits pretty soon.

1. It’s made of Special material (S.M.F.D.) for LCD cleaning on the surface of inner bag. This provides better protection for the surface of notebook.

2. The material is both waterproof and shockproof.

3. Mid-soft Memory Foam (M.M.F.), stress reflection and diffusivity rapidly.



4. Internal and external protection trim strips enhance the strength of rim and reduce the chances of scraping the surface of the laptop.



5. Hidden and Glistening zipper design.



6. No-seam design on the bottom of inner bag protects the bottom of notebook.



7. PU material zipper head and dual zippers design.



8. Flexible material and no steel wire design, allows install perfectly even +_5mm difference of Notebook size.

Most of you would be wondering what M.M.F really is. It’s in a way similar to “tempur” material which is popular these days for pillows and mattresses since they take pressure off your body in contrast to conventional pillows and mattresses. Here’s an extract of a good article which we found clearly explaining what this material is.

“Different from a spring back kind of mattress where all points of the mattress are always trying to find there way back to point zero resistance, memory foam actually deforms each cell, by smashing it and evacuating the air, dislodging it into other cells. This makes the foam more difficult to reach point zero again since the process of deforming literally creates a vacuum.

In this way, the memory foam mattress will remain in the position the load has determined every time the slumbering individual has just awoken from a dream, moves position and goes back into the dream world. In the event of shock say by you dropping your laptop bag, this material helps deflect the shock and protect your laptop. However we weren’t going to test their theory by dropping a perfectly good laptop, nevertheless I’m quite confident with their claim in the event of such an accident.

We have used this inner bag for a few weeks now and since it’s so light weight we carry the laptop around just inside the Inner bag only while indoors. And since it’s waterproof you can be at ease knowing that even if you spill anything on the bag, it’s not going to affect your laptop. We actually did test this out and this claim is true to their word.

Apiotek offers the Inner Bag in various colors such as Black, Ash, Blue and Purple, so depending on your preference you can opt for one.

End of the day one main question still remains; do you really need this product.
The answer is it depends. If you’re a true mobile user who carries his/her laptop allover, then yes we’d recommend you get this as any extra protection you can offer your laptop the better. It’s got a very professional finish, very light weight, shockproof and waterproof too, protecting your laptop if you’re caught off guard on a rainy day or any accidental spillage. If you fall into this category we really do recommend Apiotek’s Inner bag.
However if you’re a user who users a laptop purely as a desktop PC replacement there is no real advantage of opting for this unless you personally see a requirement for it.
