Introduction

When you think of home audio, 1388 Technology isn't the first name that pops into mind. That may soon change for the throngs of people who have heard the versatile little box perform.

High quality music today is mostly reserved to the rich and affluent. As with anything, if you expect quality be prepared to pay for it. I was living by this myth for as long as I could remember, only to be proved wrong a few days back. I'm here to prove to all you folks, in order for you to enjoy high quality music similar to that of expensive stereo setups, all you need is an average set of speakers and this new handy device we just received called the BIT88. Forget about all those expensive amps, which bust half of your bank account, the BIT88 has proved to me that it performs almost equally or even better.

Before I go onto the details of the BIT88 any further, it would be an injustice if I didn't mention about how the BIT88 came to life. The BIT88 was designed by a few young entrepreneurs in Singapore who were pretty much frustrated with the poor audio quality produced by modern audio equipment. So in there quest to find the ideal device to enhance their lives, they came up with the BIT88. With such an enthusiastic drive towards quality, you have to expect something out of the ordinary.

The great thing about the Bit88 is that it restores the original dynamics of audio signals without any distortions, which results with greater sound clarity. The looks of the BIT88 isn't a crowed attracting bombshell, and personally if I hadn't heard how this thing performs, I wouldn't have had a second glance at it either. It's just a plain looking silver box with a few audio connectors at the back. However as the saying goes, looks aren't everything. And oh boy was I proved right.
