Introduction

So you've finally finished that long brain tearing project on, hmm………Human Psychology. Everything's complete and all you've got to do is take the print outs, bind the papers together and hand it over to Dr Doo little. So you start up your machine grinning from one corner to another and hey presto, your hard drives wiped out!! (& You drop dead!)

Gee! Ever gone through this? Ever?. Hope you haven't pal, cause this is what my nightmares are made up off!

So what Dr Doo little's student forgot was to 'back up' his data. Back up, back up back up. What ever you do, if it's important always back up everything you've got. Cause however reliable and safe you may think your hard drive is, you never know when the unthinkable could happen.

So out there is a vast number of personal back up devices from companies like Castlewood & Iomega who are big players in this market. What we have with us today is OnStream's USB 30 with a capacity of 30GB. If you don't know who or what OnStream is, they are a relatively new company that has been in the storage business for more than 2 years now. Their products have been very popular & proved their reliability over a small period of time. My main man over at OnStream was to send us the drive by the end of August, but since it only arrived at Technoyard in mid September here is our review finally on the OnStream ECHO 30 USB storage drive.
