As you can see from the tests, the Trifecta performs to the claims made by OCZ. It’s not the highest performing Flash device it never was intended to be. The drive retails around $63 on Buy.com but you can shop around for more bargains on the net.

Even though there’s not a great deal to talk about the Trifectas’ performance it excels in its versatile usage. 2GB of storage for a Micro SD card is quite significant; it easily translates to a couple of hundred pictures or few hours of music if you plan to use it on your phone. And if in an emergency simply use the Trifecta’s SD card adapter to use it either as a USB drive or SD Memory card as well.

We’re very impressed with what OCZ has done here, with good extendibility and decent performance the Trifecta is a unique product that’s sure to attract many. If there was any complaints to make about the Trifecta I’d say it feels a bit flimsy when using as a USB drive as you can easily break the USB connector by accident if you put too much force, since the whole SD card adapter is quite thin by default. Other than that, OCZ have another winning product on their hands. We do recommend this product to anyone looking for micro SD cards with added versatility, and it comes with 5 years warranty from OCZ so what more can you ask for?
